Kevin Hart Reacts to His Hollywood Wax Figure and Calls It “An Attack”

April 1, 2026

A new wax figure honoring comedian and actor Kevin Hart has sparked laughter across social media—especially from Hart himself. The statue, displayed at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, quickly caught attention after Hart posted his reaction online.

The comedian did not hold back, sharing a playful yet blunt response that fueled a wave of celebrity comments and fan jokes.

On March 14, Kevin Hart uploaded an Instagram Reel showing the wax figure created in his likeness. The statue features the comedian wearing a leather jacket paired with a gold chain, styled in a casual celebrity pose.

Hart zoomed in on the sculpture while the “Frolic” theme from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” played in the background, adding to the comedic tone of the clip.

The comedian’s caption made his feelings clear:

“WTTTTFFFFF …. What did I do to these people…. This is an attack…. Who in the f--- is this?????? At this point these museums are just trying to make me cry 🥺😂😂😂😂….. This s--- has to stop…. I demand a redo damn it!!!!!!!”

His reaction instantly drew attention, as fans and fellow celebrities rushed to comment on the unexpected resemblance.

Celebrity Reactions Add to the Comedy

Several well-known figures joined the conversation, turning the moment into a lighthearted roast.

Dwayne Johnson, Hart’s frequent co-star and friend, offered a sarcastic seal of approval:

“It’s PERFECT. Don’t change a thing.”

Actor Don Cheadle encouraged fans to share their reactions, writing:

“Cook. Him. 🔥🔥🔥”

Actress Jameela Jamil gave a blunt review:

“This is the worst one I've ever seen of anyone.”

Reality star Jenni “JWOWW” Farley added another playful jab, joking:

“I feel like @therock had something to do with this 🤣🤣🤣.”

The comments section quickly turned into a comedy thread filled with fan jokes and comparisons.

Fans Share Their Own Hilarious Takes

Hart’s followers wasted no time posting humorous remarks under the video. Many compared the statue to a budget imitation rather than a celebrity tribute.

Some of the standout fan comments included:

“When you order your wax figure off Temu 😭😂.”

“this is KELVIN HARTLESS.”

The playful criticism kept the conversation trending as fans debated whether the statue truly captured Hart’s likeness.

Not the First Wax Figure Controversy

Instagram | theshaderoom | Wax tributes often miss the mark, sparking public callouts from stars like Dwayne Johnson.

Celebrity wax figures often spark mixed reactions, and Hart is far from the first public figure to question a museum tribute.

In 2023, Dwayne Johnson spoke out about a wax statue of himself displayed at the Musée Grévin museum in Paris. After noticing that the sculpture’s skin tone looked inaccurate, Johnson joked about the issue on Instagram.

He wrote:

“For the record, I'm going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grévin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements — starting with my skin color.”

Johnson added that he planned to visit the museum and “have a drink with myself.” The museum later acknowledged the criticism and promised to adjust the statue.

Another artist who shared similar thoughts was rapper Lil Wayne. In October 2023, he responded to a wax figure displayed at the Hollywood Wax Museum with a brief but clear comment on X:

“Sorry, wax museum, but dat s--- ain't me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort.”

Why Wax Figures Often Spark Debate

Wax museums attempt to capture the exact appearance of public figures through detailed sculpting and design. Even a slight mismatch in facial structure, expression, or proportions becomes noticeable quickly, especially since audiences are highly familiar with celebrity appearances.

When a wax figure fails to resemble its subject closely, reactions often spread rapidly online. Celebrities sometimes respond with humor or criticism, while fans share their opinions across social platforms. In certain cases, museums review the feedback and update the sculpture to improve accuracy.

Kevin Hart’s reaction to his wax figure follows this pattern. The comedian addressed the statue with his signature comedic style, which quickly turned the moment into a viral discussion.

Although the sculpture may not match his expectations, the response created widespread online engagement and added another memorable chapter to the long list of celebrity wax figure debates.
